Requirements for Illinois CCAP

  • You must live in Illinois
  • All adults in the home must be employed and/or going to an eligible educational activity (High school, trade school, undergraduate college…)
  • You must have children younger than 13 that need care while you are working or going to school
  • Children with documented special needs may be eligible up to the age of 19
  • You must have family income below allowable limits.

Finding a provider

Reminder: You must contact the provider of your choice to obtain the information needed to complete the provider section of the CCAP application BEFORE applying online or mailing out your paper application.
